He Is Risen!

He is risen indeed!

This Easter Sunday is different than any other at Faith to-date – the church is not meeting together physically, but still celebrating together wherever we are. Whether we do it at the same time or not, we are still celebrating Jesus’ death, His burial, and His resurrection together.

As we worship together separately, this will be different than the last few weeks. Pastor has made a video of his sermon, and in keeping with that thought, the songs we sing together today will be as we would sing in church. Don’t let this be a piano or leader solo, but sing out, together, all with one voice, whether you are alone or with family. Remember who usually sits around you in church, and sing as though you are with them, and rejoice with them in the hope that we have in Christ as believers, and that we will join together soon.  Worship the risen Christ today as one body.

Today we’re singing praise to God as a nation and as a church family, praise to the one and only holy, triune God. We’re remembering the work that Jesus did on the cross to satisfy the debt for our sin, and we’re singing of his resurrection and the victory He has given us over sin and death.

So once again, worship God together, sing together, read His word together, and listen to Pastor’s sermon. Soon we’ll be back together in person…

In closing sing along with us – In Christ Alone!

What a benediction we have from Hebrews 13:20-21.

“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
