Do We Agree?

Thanks for joining us this Palm Sunday as Pastor Lamberson looks at Mark’s account of Jesus’ “triumphal entry” into Jerusalem. Pastor asks this simple question – “Do we agree?” How would you answer that question?

Before you listen, join with us in singing praise to God, and to His son, Jesus,  and reading His word as we worship together, even though apart.

Let’s start with a Hallel Psalm of Praise – Psalm 117, as we sing “Praise the Lord”.

Read with us today from Psalm 24. We’ll return to Psalm 119 after Easter.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob. Selah

that the King of glory may come in.

Sing with us again as we sing traditional Palm Sunday hymns, “All Glory Laud and Honor” and “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna”.

Before Pastor brings God’s word to us, and as we give glory to God, sing with us, and ask (and answer) this musical question with us. Is He Worthy?

As you stay at home this week, or if you go to work, think on these things. As Paul said, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Focus on the things of God, on the work of Christ, and at the end of the day, cast your cares on Him. Give Him all the praise, all the glory because He is worthy!

  1. Excellent Palm Sunday worship service on line. The music was fantastic; Jim’s solo was beautiful. Pastor Paul has a special way of teaching us how to see the Gospel, capturing new insight of its words, illustrations and situations. Thank you for the blessings this message brought this Palm Sunday morning.
