Happy march! We are all ready for sunshine and a little warmer temps. However, there is still lots of the white stuff on the ground and a perfect time to cuddle up with your family and watch a family DVD. You pop the corn and we’ll furnish the movie.
My March choice of the month is “Because of Winn Dixie” starring Jeff Daniels, Cicely Tyson, Dave Matthews and Eva Marie Saint.
“Because of Winn Dixie” is a tale of a young girl and the four legged friend who changed her life. Of course, the Lamberson family recently adopted Lassie, so a dog movie was in order.
We have a wonderful collection of family movie DVDs for you to try. The movies are on my desk in the library so pick up your favorite.
Pastor Paul’s pick for march is “Designed For Joy” edited by Jonathan Parnell and Owen Strachan. It’s based on how the gospel impacts men and women, identity and practice.
