What does the Bible teach about baptism?
*Baptism is a symbol, not a sacrament.
What does it symbolize?
*Baptism is for believers.
*Baptism symbolizes a bath – a thorough cleaning.
*Baptism symbolizes the Holy Spirit’s work of placing you in Christ.
Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Acts 2:41
*Baptism symbolizes the Trinity.

Thank you for posting this sermon. Pastor has such a beautiful message. June 28, 2015 was my beautiful baptism and I will never forget that day. I was already God’s child but I was washed in a new symbol of what my life was to be through baptism. Thank you Pastor Jim and Doc and Debbie E for bringing me there and the church family for witnessing it. That day was symbolic to me and my faith. I hope if someone is considering baptism that they are moved to do it.
