Have Faith

Join us online today as we listen to Pastor Lamberson’s first sermon in this time of separation, as we spend time away from each other, following the recommendations of the health care experts in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak.

In today’s sermon, Pastor Lamberson looks at Mark 4:35-41 as Jesus quiets the stormy seas into which He has led His disciples. Listen along with us today.

Some of the scripture passages Pastor will go to or reference in today’s sermon are listed here, so listen with your bible in your hands. May God bless you as you hear and read His word.

  • Mark 4:1
  • Matthew 8:23-27 (parallel passage)
  • Luke 8:22-25 (parallel passage)
  • Mark 4:1
  • Mark 1:25
  • Mark 3:12
  • Mark 9:25
  • James 1:2-4
  • Romans 8:28
  • Ephesians 6:16

Our Psalm reading is from Psalm 119:57-64.

You are my portion, Lord; I have promised to obey your words. I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.

I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes. I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.

At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws. I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts. The earth is filled with your love, Lord; teach me your decrees.

If you would like a couple of songs as part of your family worship, may we suggest these.
