Absolute Surrender

Listen along as Harry Hammond brings God’s word to us in today’s sermon “Absolute Surrender” from 1 Kings 20:1-4.

1 Kings 20:1-4
And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots; and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.  And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad, Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine. And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have.

  1. To Harry Hammond:
Harry, I received your letter in reply to my letter to you. Looking forward to more contact after you finish your busy tax season.
I listened to your great message. It hit home in a number of areas! I will communicate those in another letter or email. You must have been given a great gift for God – outside of our Savior – your ability to preach His message. It was wonderful. I had the opportunity to lead a worship service several years ago at my former church. Unfortunately, it was not recorded. I used my experience with my alcoholism and my belief that He has removed the compulsion for me to drink.
Again, great message. I look forward to connecting with you. We seem, as you wrote, that we have a bunch in common.
